Workspace Email And Drive Sync
Workspace sync connects Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 so CaseSolo can pull email and document context into a case.
What It Syncs
- Gmail or Outlook message metadata, including subject, sender, recipients, date, preview text, and provider link.
- Google Drive or OneDrive file metadata, including name, owner, modified date, file type, and provider link.
- Case activity entries when a team member runs sync from a specific case context.
CaseSolo uses case-number hints from subjects, snippets, filenames, and owners to make review easier. Human review still matters before relying on synced context for legal work.
Admin Checklist
- Configure Google or Microsoft OAuth credentials.
- Authorize the provider from Integrations.
- Enable email sync, drive sync, or both.
- Run an initial sync to capture provider cursors.
- Review synced case activity and provider links.
Initial syncs may import a small recent snapshot. Later syncs use provider cursors or delta links.
Troubleshooting
- If sync says not connected, re-authorize the provider.
- If cursors are missing, run the first sync again.
- If a message or document appears in the wrong case, verify the case ID supplied to the sync action and review the case-number hints.
- If a provider link does not open, confirm the user still has access in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
